[Distractions]

Throughout my quarter century of life, I have noticed that there are so many things in life that can be approached so easily, yet it seems that we're programmed to make it more difficult. From my previous relationships and past experiences, I've noticed communication goes a long long way in any kind of relationship.  However, it always seems that "easier said than done" comes into play so much more.  That being said, a relationship is a two way street.  If for some reason, things aren't talked about, feelings that aren't mentioned begin to snowball making situations between the parties difficult to be back to normal.  I always tell my friends that communication is huge, and that by doing something (instead of saying how you feel) is the wrong approach to things.  It's also hard to take your own advice though; i've noticed that there are instances where I should listen to myself and do the same things i tell my friends to do.  Then again it's also hard to be the only person in the relationship to try to work things out, and talk.  Being receptive plays a huge roll as well.  Theres only so much one person can do/say/change if the other person doesn't try to do the same. At this point in life, though, I'm really happy i have a bunch of distractions.  Ive noticed that they keep me level-headed and grounded.

Goals for next two weeks:
study study study, with gym in between.
                        &
take my own advice and speak my mind.
